John L. Johnson, 86, a longtime resident of Hinsdale, IL and Barrington, IL, husband of the late Claire Firchow Johnson.
An alumni of the University of Minnesota, he was a metallurgist and former employee of the Alcoa Corp and later joined West Irving Die Casting Conpany in Bensenville, IL. He is survived by three children, Christopher E. Johnson of Thornton, CO, Cynthia Marie Johnson of Punta Gorda, FL and Karen Anne Pierce of Acton, MA; and five grandchildren.
Private Services and interment will be in Mount Emblem Cemetery,Elmhurst, IL.
