A Glendale Heights man accused of struggling with Schaumburg police on Saturday, leading a 19-year veteran officer, Frank Russo, to collapse and die, will not be charged directly in connection with the officer’s death, police said Sunday.
Jordan Miczek, 24, of the 0-99 block of Shorewood Drive, is charged with two felony counts of aggravated battery to a police officer, as well as two misdemeanor counts of resisting a police officer and one misdemeanor count of battery for his actions against other officers, police said.
