Shares of the popular Internet search engine company fell to their lowest closing price in three years. Barclays PLC cut its revenue and share-price forecasts for the firm, saying the slowing economy is “finally catching up with Google and search.”

Stock of the aluminum giant had the Dow Jones industrial average’s biggest percentage gain, rising after China announced a $586 billion stimulus package to boost its economy. Despite the gain, Alcoa shares are down 74 percent from their 52-week high.
