The St. Charles North High School student who jumped from a moving vehicle as part of a scavenger hunt has been released from a hospital, officials said.
Erik Nava, 17, of South Elgin, had suffered head injuries after the Nov. 21 incident near St. Charles. He was participating in a game in which players earned points for completing stunts, including jumping from a car, officials said.
