A University of Illinois at Chicago student was charged Wednesday night in connection with a shotgun-wielding home invasion this month in the Little Italy neighborhood.
Marty Joe Martin, 20, was arrested at a residence hall on the Near West Side campus and charged with armed home invasion in the Dec. 1 robbery, police said.
Martin was with two other men when they broke into the home of an acquaintance of Martin’s and stole $250 from two people, police said.
