A Chicago man was charged with criminal trespass to a residence last week after he walked into a stranger’s Oak Lawn home and then refused to leave, police said.

Charles J. Simek, 38, of the 6100 block of South Mason Avenue, was arrested after a police officer spotted him knocking on doors and bothering residents on the 9400 block of South 53rd Court, police said.

Simek was taken to a local hospital after police found two empty prescription bottles on him.
