Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Whenever you see a line outside an Apple store — or an AT&T store — you know it must have something to do with the iPhone. I’ll be waiting outside at 5 a.m. for mine, but will you? That’s what we asked two sets of Twitter followers — those that follow @redeyechicago and those that follow @iptib. Here are some of the many responses. @cyborganic

Pervasive device or not; the iPhone is good over time — not a single moment in time. So I’ll wait a bit and not have a line.

@TaylorGerring

I can give you 399 reasons why I’ll still be in bed.

@knitmeapony

Good lord no. Anyone who can’t wait a day or even a month for a damn phone needs to reassess their priorities.

@shack072

I will not be waiting. I pre-ordered mine and will go into the Apple store around 12:00 p.m. to pick it up. 😀

@Cliff_Davis

Skipped the line and pre-ordered

@offering

I LOVE my hubby … HE will be in line tomorrow at 5 am and I will relieve him around 7:30 am … all to get ME a new iPhone 🙂

@ashleyrobin

I might drive by and laugh. It’s just a selling tactic to get biz. Besides, I already have a camera.

@Zakiya_

No need to wait in line 4 iPhone. Already have BlackBerry Bold.

@larrysullivan

Getting on a plane at 6 am. But I’m hoping to get one while in Hawaii! I’m such an Apple geek! HA!

@krueps

Ordered my iPhone 3G S, no waiting, no line. It’ll arrive tomorrow in the morning 🙂 I hope 😮

@tavlian

Most definitely. I have iPhone 1 and I could use MMS, Stereo Bluetooth, SPEED and Video. See you at 5!

@casonye

Nope, will wait for all the early adopters to work out the kinks
