Quentin Tarantino will get the red-carpet treatment in Chicago next month.
But don’t worry, there won’t be blood. On Aug. 18, Cinema/Chicago is presenting the “Pulp Fiction” and “Kill Bill” mastermind with its Career Achievement Award. Tarantino is set to accept the award at the 2009 Summer Gala before a screening of his latest film, “Inglourious Basterds,” which opens Aug. 21.
