An unnamed woman is suing a day-care center associated with the Ministries of the United Methodist Church on behalf of her son, alleging an employee of the center “attacked, assaulted and battered” her child, according to the lawsuit.
The alleged abuse happened on May 7, 2009, at the Marcy Center, a day-care center on the 1500 block of South Springfield Avenue in Chicago, according to the complaint.
