Reality television shows tend to fall into three categories. There’s the good: “American Idol”; the bad: “Jon & Kate Plus 8”; and the ugly: “Rock of Love.” Somewhere in the middle of those rigid constraints sits “So You Think You Can Dance.” It’s not as captivating as “The Amazing Race,” but, fortunately, it steers clear of cringe-worthy. Dancing hopefuls showcase their stuff in prime time on Fox.
