Scored in deadly spurts, including 14 first-quarter points to spark the Public League championship win over Bogan and 14 third-quarter points to keep Young in the 4A championship against Bolingbrook. Finished with 18 points in the title game.

Johnson played on the sophomore team in 2009 but stepped in as the starting point guard this season due to junior Chanise Jenkins’ knee injury.
