If the stream of comedians in town continues (Tracy Morgan, Craig Ferguson and Joel McHale are among those who have been here in the past two weeks), our sides will be split by the time the Just for Laughs festival starts in June. We don’t mind. And neither does Martin Lawrence, left, who is bringing a weekend-packed lineup of comics to the Chicago Theatre. Lawrence will be taping the live performances for his “Martin Lawrence Presents: 1st Amendment Stand-Up” TV show on Starz. Black and proud Republican (before it was popular) Sheryl Underwood will host. Comedians scheduled to perform (lineup subject to change) include Sandra Bernhard, Gary Owen, Leon Rogers, Damon Williams, Melanie Camarcho, Ahmed Ahmed, Deon Cole and Tony Sculfield. Shows are 7 and 9 p.m. Thursday and May 14; 6, 8 and 10 p.m. May 15; 4, 6 and 8 p.m. May 16 at the Chicago Theatre, 175 N. State St. (because it is a live taping, there is no late seating). $18-$28; 800-745-3000, ticketmaster.com
