Yolanda McCray injured herself and her 5-year-old daughter when she slammed into two cars on Pulaski Road on Thursday night in front of police officers who were conducting a traffic stop, police said.
A woman who last week crashed into two cars in North Lawndale, injuring herself and her 5-year-old daughter, was charged Saturday with felony drunken driving, Chicago police said.
Yolanda McCray, 25, slammed into a sedan and a truck on Pulaski Road on Thursday night right in front of police officers who were conducting a traffic stop, police said.
In addition to an aggravated driving under the influence charge, McCray was cited for numerous traffic violations, including driving with a suspended license.
Police also discovered that her daughter was not wearing a seat belt.
McCray and her daughter were both taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, police said, but reports on their condition were unavailable Saturday.
