The SouthtownStar reports: Illinois is trying to force a Frankfort man to pay child support for a son he claims was kidnapped 10 years ago and taken to Poland by his mother. State officials are attempting to enforce a Polish court ruling that Gerardo Serrano owes back child support — even though Serrano says a Cook County judge determined the boy was “unlawfully removed” to Poland and Serrano therefore owes no child support.
