We hope your waistline has recovered from the Taste of Chicago and you have a few hand wipes left for the
Rockin’ on the River Ribfest
. For three days, barbecue masters from all over the country and local restaurateurs will be spreading their one-of-a-kind sauces on chicken, ribs, pulled pork and other delicacies for your tasting pleasure. While the ‘cue is on the grill, a live music stage will feature performances by Too White Crew,
, Chris Cagle, Maggie Speaks, Trippin’ Billies and other local favorites. The opening day of the Rockin’ fest is Free Family Friday with free general admission until 3 p.m., a Dodge Power Wheels driving course, moon jumps and a special performance by the Million Dollar Quartet.
