Chicago Police today issued a community alert following a sexual abuse incident at a university residence hall in the Printers Row neighborhood, officials said.
According to the report, a man entered the dorm on the 500 block of South State Street at 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 28 and told the victim that he was looking for a friend before attempting to sexually abuse her.
Police would not give the name of the school affiliated with the dorm.
The suspect is described as being a black male, approximately 19 or 20 years old, 210 pounds and 6 feet to 6 feet 1 inches tall. He was wearing a brown knit cap, a black t-shirt, a black zip-up sweatshirt, a black jacket, dark jeans and white gym shoes.
He also wore a diamond earring in his left ear, a leather bracelet with a wooden eagle on one wrist and a blue band on the other wrist.
