A former student at Washington High School in Chicago’s East Side neighborhood has been charged with returning to the school with a loaded gun.

Eutimio Rodriguez, 18, of the 13100 block of South Avenue O, was also carrying a piece of paper with the names of police officers and their photos, but authorities had no other details.

Rodriguez was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and carrying a firearm without a valid firearm owner’s identification card, authorities said.

Rodriguez entered the school at 3535 E. 114th St. shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday with a gun in an ankle holster, authorities said. The gun set off a metal detector, and he was arrested. Bail has been set at $10,000.
