The “Memphis” concert in Symphony Center’s new United Sounds of America series has been cancelled due to slow ticket sales, according to a Symphony Center representative.
Those holding tickets for the cancelled June 16 show should phone 312-294-3000.
All of the other events in the series will go on as planned. These are “New York City,” 8 p.m. Friday; “Route 66,” 8 p.m. Saturday; “New Orleans,” 7 p.m. Sunday; “Detroit,” 8 p.m. June 17; and Austin, 8 p.m. June 18.
All concerts are at Symphony Center, 220 S. Michigan Ave.
