A 16-year-old boy was wounded tonight in a shooting on the Far North Side in the city’s Rogers Park neighborhood.
The shooting happened about 8:16 p.m. on the 6900 block of North Clark Street, said Police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety. The boy suffered a wound to his buttocks and was taken in serious-to-critical condition to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, according to Fire Department spokesman.
There was no immediate information available about the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
Police were investigating.
