CLEVELAND — The start of Sunday’s Chicago White Sox game against the Cleveland Guardians at Progressive Field has been delayed because of rain, the Guardians announced.
The game is projected to begin at 1:30 p.m. CT
The game was scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. CT. The teams enter the day tied for first place in the American League Central.
It’s been a tight series, with the Guardians winning Thursday and Friday in walk-off fashion. The Sox won 3-1 on Saturday.
Chris Murphy is slated to be Sunday’s opener for the Sox, with Erick Fedde set up as the bulk pitcher.
