CLASS 4A STATE FINAL
Young 63, Edwardsville 51
Linnae Harper had 14 points and 12 rebounds, Janee Thompson had 12 points, and Taylor Brame added 10 points and 4 rebounds for Young (34-0). Ashia Jones had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and Emmonnie Henderson added 10 points and 8 rebounds in the Edwardsville (34-2) loss.
CLASS 4A STATE 3RD PLACE
Bartlett 61, Loyola 59 (OT)
Kristin Conniff had 21 points (including 4 three-pointers) and 6 rebounds, Haley Videckis had 15 points and 6 rebounds, and Lisa Palmer added 14 points, 16 rebounds and 4 steals for Bartlett (32-2). Michelle Ricolcol had 27 points and Kathleen Stralka added 12 points and 4 steals in the loss for Loyola (26-9).
CLASS 3A STATE FINAL
Montini 56, Vernon Hills 38
Jasmine Lumpkin scored 14 points off the bench, as Tianna Brown and Kateri Stone each had 13 in the Montini (33-5) win. Sydney Smith had 17 and Lauren Webb added 13, all on FTs, in the loss for Vernon Hills (27-6).
CLASS 3A STATE 3RD PLACE
Hillcrest 70, Springfield 54
Shannise Heady had 19 points and 8 rebounds, and Samirah Ali added 15 points for Hillcrest (28-4). Anika Webster and Zahna Medley each scored 11 points in the Springfield loss.
