The Kane County Clerk’s election website, down since 11 p.m. Monday, was back up midday today.
Voters can still call 630-232-5990 if they have questions about their voter registration, polling place or other election issues.
Visitors to the website this morning were greeted with an application error message if they tried to enter the site through its main page, www.kanecountyelections.org.
“This is the first time this has happened during an election,” said Raymond Esquivel, supervisor of elections for the Clerk’s office.
Officials worked since 11 p.m. Monday to correct the problems, Esquivel said. It was restored midday today.
