As Brooke and Ridge plotted to keep Amber away from Forrester, and from Rick, Karen Spencer returned to LA with daughter Caroline, who was offered a position at Forrester. Karen correctly suspected that Brooke has a hidden agenda regarding the job. Brooke tried to make Amber jealous by comparing her unfavorably to Caroline, placing Rick in the middle. Thomas revealed something to Marcus. Coming: Rick is under pressure to take sides.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Having no choice, Hope and John allowed themselves to be hypnotized but privately, they intended to disappear after retrieving Stefano’s Faberge egg. Chad and Melanie were about to finally make love when she found the earring Gabi had planted in Chad’s bed, and ran out. Gabi admitted that she had “lost” it while they were looking at photos. After apologizing to Abe, Lexie suffered a horrible headache but covered in front of him. E.J. overheard Rafe promise to help Nicole and learned that she’s pregnant. Billie found something useful in Stefano’s files. Coming: Carrie intends to share her true feelings with Rafe.
DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES: Under repeated questioning by the police, Bree realized she needs legal help. Meanwhile, the detectives spoke to someone at a hotel about whether Alejandro had ever stayed there. Already devastated by Mike’s murder, Susan found evidence that led her to suspect he had an affair. Gaby began working as a personal shopper and acted flirtatiously to drum up business, but Carlos was not pleased to learn about his wife’s behavior. Coming: A street accident changes more lives.
GCB: Thanks to her client and new love interest, Andrew, Heather brought world-famous singer Sheryl Crow to perform at the annual church fundraiser. However, Heather was outdone by Gigi, who stole the show with Burl. As if there isn’t already enough bad blood between them, Carlene and Amanda found another reason to disagree with each other, leading to more outrageous antics. Coming: Amanda finds it harder to stay out of the dirt.
GENERAL HOSPITAL: Jason gave Sonny tips about John McBain’s weaknesses, while Sam and John had another unsettling encounter. After talking candidly as Connie to Ewen under hypnosis, Kate pretended to be Connie to uncover Johnny’s plan, much to Ewen’s dismay. Liz and Ewen grew closer and made plans to date. Dante teamed up with Ewen, Ronnie and Lulu to profile Delores’ husband. Sam made a discovery that could unlock the Franco mystery. Sonny warned Michael to stay away from Starr. Coming: Patrick tries to move on with his life.
GOSSIP GIRL: “Gossip Girl” is pre-empted by the movie “Confessions of a Shopaholic” but returns with new episodes Monday, April 2.
MAKE IT OR BREAK IT: On the third-season premiere, the Rock girls had to get through eight weeks of competition at the USA training center to move closer to their Olympic dreams. Payson found it hard to focus on her training after receiving upsetting news. Kaylie was torn between commitment to her boyfriend and her teammates. Lauren feared that her customized perfume was making her dizzy. And trouble ensued when an uninvited gymnast, Jordan Randall, was out to get a spot at the training center. Coming: Personal issues could threaten the team’s success.

THE SECRET CIRCLE: Jake was surprised by a visit from Samuel, a witch hunter, who had a message for Blackwell about Eben’s next move. Cassie learned the news and was stunned by Eben’s resurrection plan. Diana, trying to juggle witchcraft and a normal boyfriend, was frustrated that keeping her identity a secret is coming between her and Grant. Faye and Melissa agreed to help Adam at the Boathouse in return for his assistance in using magic to spice up their love lives. Coming: Cassie gets in over her head again.
SECRET LIFE OF THE AMERICAN TEENAGER: After her very public acceptance of Ricky’s marriage proposal, Amy caught him off-guard when she didn’t seem in a rush to tie the knot. But could it be that Amy is wrestling with a very big secret? Ben became closer to Dylan, who introduced him to marijuana, but, of course, Ben was caught in the act and faced the consequences. Meanwhile, Leo’s happiness with Camille might come with strings attached. Henry’s behavior at the party got him ostracized. Coming: Ethan’s actions cause more problems for Ricky and Amy.
SMASH: What happened at the workshop affected every member of the group. Ivy remained uncertain if she would be able to continue as Marilyn, while Derek recruited Karen to help him steal the musical away from Tom and Julia. Meanwhile, Eileen was distracted by personal problems, having to face her ex-husband Jerry when their daughter Katie made an unexpected visit home from India. Coming: Infighting could sink the show before it ever starts.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: Damon and Stefan came up with a new plan to help them destroy Klaus and enlisted Elena, Caroline and Matt. Bonnie was forced to work on a spell for Klaus after he threatened someone she cares about. Klaus and Rebekah found a way to convince Finn to work with them, but Rebekah was more interested in taking revenge on Damon. A tormented Stefan ended up in a dangerous confrontation with Klaus, followed by a heartbreaking exchange with Elena. Coming: Pain is an eternal reality for Stefan.
YOUNG AND RESTLESS: Jeff interrupted Angelo and Gloria’s wedding and revealed that Angelo had forced him to write the note about taking the money. Angelina then revealed that her marriage to Kevin is a fake. These confessions resulted in Katherine (an ordained minister) performing a double wedding ceremony for Jeff and Gloria, and Kevin and Chloe. Eden saw Daisy and Ricky kissing. At the hearing, Daniel tried to explain why he wants to reinstate his parental rights but the judge appeared to be on Daisy’s side. In Japan with Nick, Sharon sealed a big deal for Newman. Coming: Daniel fears the worst when the judge renders a decision.
