Today’s temperatures are expected to reach into the high 60s and will continue into tomorrow, making for a warm but breezy Easter Sunday.

Today’s temperatures will be about 14 degrees warmer than Friday and are expected to plateau at about 67, according to WGN-TV’s Tom Skilling.

Winds from the south and the southwest are expected to increase from 11 to 25 mph with clouds rolling in during the afternoon, Skilling said.

There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the early evening hours, but that should clear by midnight, making way for sunny skies on Easter, he said.

Easter Sunday is expected to be sunny, breezy and mild with winds shifting to the northwest from 10 to 22 mph, he said.
