RHP Ubaldo Jimenez continued making headlines Saturday when he dropped his appeal of a five-game suspension and shut down the Blue Jays in his season debut. Jimenez threw seven innings, allowed just one hit and two earned runs. He added a wild pitch and three walks. By dropping his appeal now, Jimenez will be able to use a coming off day for the Indians as part of the suspension. As a result, he won’t miss any starts.
