Hornets’ Kaman to miss final 5 game with leg injury
New Orleans Hornets center Chris Kaman is expected to miss the final five games of the season because of a bruised left tibia, according to the team.
Kaman injured his shin in Sunday’s victory over Memphis.
The 7-foot Kaman has started 33 of the 47 games he has played this season and is averaging 13.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game.
He becomes an unrestricted free agent this summer and is expected to draw interest from a number of teams.
