The body of a man believed to be in his 20s was found in a gangway behind a building in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.
A woman found the body in the 6400 block of South Greenwood Avenue this morning when taking out garbage, according to a neighbor.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office said it was notified around 9 a.m.
The man is believed to be in his mid to late 20s, said Police News Affairs Officer John Mirabelli.
Area South detectives were investigating.
