MILAN, May 27 (Reuters) – Canada’s Ryder Hesjedal won the
Giro d’Italia after reeling in overnight leader Joaquim
Rodriguez in Sunday’s 30 kilometre time trial.
Spain’s Rodriguez, who took a 31-second advantage over the
Canadian into the final day, had to settle for second with
Belgium’s Thomas De Gendt third.
