Bethune-Cookman 21, Florida A&M; 16: Quentin Williams passed for 120 yards and a touchdown and added 79 yards on 14 carries as the Wildcats held off the Rattlers and clinched a perfect Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference slate.
Isidore Jackson rushed for a 34-yard touchdown and finished with 77 yards on 12 carries for Bethune-Cookman (9-2, 8-0 MEAC), which had already clinched its first conference title since 2002.
Damien Fleming passed for 162 yards and a score for Florida A&M; (4-7, 4-4) but was sacked by Harold Love III and lost a fumble in Wildcats territory on the final drive.
The Rattlers took a 10-7 lead into halftime after James Owens broke loose for a 41-yard touchdown with 4:22 left in the second quarter.
Jackson put Bethune-Cookman on top with his burst in the third quarter and Andronicus Lovette capped a 74-yard drive with a 1-yard touchdown run with 11:30 left to make it a 21-10 gap. Fleming got Florida A&M; back on the board with a touchdown 3:26 later, but the point after was blocked and the Rattlers could not make up the difference.
