ON BOARD AIR FORCE ONE, May 28 (Reuters) – The White House
was aware in advance of Republican U.S. Senator John McCain’s
trip to Syria and looks forward to speaking to him upon his
return, President Barack Obama’s spokesman Jay Carney told
reporters on Tuesday.
