is writing and directing.
The film is based on a story by Delpy and
. Hamel is producing through his Company Films banner along with “Her” producer Vincent Landay.
The film is set the early days of silent films and the automobile industry and follows a family of Vaudeville performers embarking on a cross-country road trip from New York to Los Angeles while making a motion picture.
Casting is currently underway.
The CAA-repped Delpy was most recently seen in “Before Midnight,” which landed her a Oscar nomination for screenwriting. CAA is also handling sales on domestic distribution rights.
