Former Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton and a Texas bar owner have dropped their lawsuits against each other, according to a Dallas Morning News report quoting Melton’s attorney.
No money was exchanged as part of the agreement to drop the suits, Melton’s lawyer, Christian Dennie, told the newspaper.
Melton still faces a misdemeanor assault charge as a result of the incident that occurred Dec. 22 at a bar in Grapevine, Texas. He agreed to a free-agent contract with the Cowboys on March 19.
