The Sept. 19 Chicago Tribune editorial on the world’s best museum was outstanding and well-deserved.
I have been a member of the Art Institute of Chicago for many years.
I also have been a volunteer there for more than 20 years.
Having the opportunity to meet with visitors from around the world and hear the wonderful compliments our museum deserves is quite a heartwarming experience.
Weekly, when my volunteer shift is finished, I always spend time in the museum,
I never tire of my favorites or viewing any of the artwork exhibited.
I have also visited the other nine top museums in the world and definitely feel pride that our museum is No. 1.
