Chicago police have issued a missing person’s alert today for a 16-year-old girl from the Southwest Side.
Valeria Bercenas last made contact with her family on Monday, police said.
She is missing from the 5000 block of South Karlov Avenue in the Archer Heights neighborhood, according to the alert.
The girl is described as Hispanic with a medium complexion, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 122 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair, police said.
She was last seen wearing a black pullover sweatshirt, black jogging pants, and black slip on shoes.
She wears dark plastic frame glasses and has shoulder length hair with highlighted tips, police said.
