A girl who went missing more than a week ago from the city’s Lawndale neighborhood has been found safe and reunited with her family, police said Tuesday.
Ayliehla Fairfax, 14, had been last seen May 17 on the 900 block of South Sacramento Boulevard. She was wearing a black T-shirt, black jogging pants, and red and black gym shoes, police said in an alert issued Monday.
Ayliehla is known to visit the areas near Division Street and Pulaski Road, and Augusta Boulevard and Marshfield Avenue, police said.
The girl was “safely located and reunited with family,” police said in an updated alert late Tuesday morning.
