Cool weather and the threat of rain didn’t dampen the festival spirit in Darien.
The annual DarienFest featuring food from local restaurants, beer from a local brewery, music from local entertainers and carnival rides still drew crowds during it’s three-day run.
The 28th annual DarienFest was held in Darien Community Park Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
A Darien’s Got Talent competition to close the event replaced prior Idol contests and a Battle of the Bands.
