The following items were gathered from reports released by the Batavia Police Department.

Duran M. Shaw, 29, of the 700 block of Park Street, was charged Nov. 21 with domestic battery at his address.
Richard F. Higgins, 52, of the 1800 block of Silver Oak Circle in Aurora, was charged with felony retail theft for stealing merchandise from Menards, 300 N. Randall Rd., on Nov. 16.
Habib Jubran, 68, of the 38W100 block of Rosewood Lane, was charged Nov. 14 with retail theft on Nov. 14 after he was seen on video surveillance removing a folding knife from its packaging and leaving the store.
A bookkeeper that had been recently fired from a business in the 1400 block of Paramount Parkway is under investigation for charging $14,000 worth of fraudulent charges to the company’s card. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
