Sam Rabor and Stephanie Rabor, of Harwood Heights, are ringing in 2016 with a brand new baby.
Simone Therese Rabor was the first baby born at Presence Resurrection Medical Center in 2016, delivered at 7:48 a.m. Jan. 1.
Simone weighed 5 pounds, 9.3 ounces, and 18.5 inches long. Dr. Paul Gleixner delivered Simone.
The hospital has a connection to Simone’s father, Dr. Sam Rabor, because he rotated through Presence Resurrection Medical Center when he was a medical student. Simone’s mother Stephanie is a pharmacist.
Baby Simone was two weeks earlier than expected: She was due on Jan. 16, 2016.
