Police are alerting the public after a man tried to lure a little girl into a car he was driving Friday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.
It happened at 7:25 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Springfield Avenue, according to a community alert issued by police.
A man between the ages of 30 and 40 approached the girl and tried to lure her into a car, police said.
The man, who was white with “very short” dark hair with a receding hairline, was driving a red 4-door car, possibly a Nissan, police said.
