Chicago police on Saturday released surveillance photos of a man who has robbed two Humboldt Park cellphone stores in the recent weeks.
The man robbed the Boost Mobile store, 3205 W. North Ave., about 6:20 p.m. on Thursday and at the Metro PCS store, 2535 W. North Ave., about 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 21.
The man has entered each store, shown a handgun and demanded money from a clerk, according to an alert issued Saturday by police.
The robber is described as a black man with a dark complexion, age 28 to 50, standing 5-foot-9 to 6-foot-2, and 170 to 210 pounds. He wore a black skull cap, a grey hooded sweatshirt, a black coat, blue jeans and brown or black gloves.
