A Schererville man is accused of paying for girls as young as 15 to be brought to his house for sex on multiple occasions last year, according to a probable cause affidavit.
In the affidavit filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court in Hammond, an unidentified cooperating defendant who trafficked women for sex told FBI agents she first met Aleksandar Jokic, 41, two years ago when he responded to an ad on Backpage.com, a common site for prostitution.
The woman told agents that starting last summer, Jokic specifically asked for underage girls to be brought to his homes in both Schererville and Merrillville.
The woman allegedly arranged for three girls — one 17, one 16 and one 15 — to go to Jokic’s house several times each. Two of the girls told the agents they went several times and that each time they went, Jokic had them perform oral sex, paying the cooperating defendant directly either with cash or check.
The cooperating defendant told the FBI she listed Jokic in her cellphone as Money Man Party Man, and agents allegedly found texts between the two discussing prostitutes.
Jokic, who was arrested Thursday, did not appear to have an attorney as of Thursday afternoon. He is facing a charge of sex trafficking with a minor.
