Casting has been completed for Rebecca Gilman’s “Soups, Stews, and Casseroles: 1976,” the Goodman Theatre announced Wednesday.
The production will feature Cliff Chamberlain as Kim Durst, Cora Vander Broek as his wife, Kat, and Lindsay Stock as their daughter, Kelly. The cast also includes Ty Olwin as Kyle, Angela Reed as Elaine and Ann Whitney as JoAnne. As previously announced, Robert Falls will helm the production.
Gilman’s play, about working-class Wisconsinites who face the corporate takeover of a local cheese factory, premiered in 2014 at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.
“Soups, Stews, and Casseroles: 1976” runs May 21–June 19 in the Owen Theatre, 170 N. Dearborn St.
