It’s been a quiet homecoming for “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak, who has been taping segments for the game show this week in Chicago.

A “Wheel of Fortune” rep said Sajak and co-host Vanna White are filming at locations around the city for episodes set to air next season. The rep declined to give details about the upcoming shows, but said no gameplay is being filmed here.

The pair have been recently photographed in Seattle, Denver and Philadelphia. “Wheel of Fortune” typically tapes at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, Calif.

Sajak, 69, grew up on the Southwest Side and attended Columbia College.

“Wheel of Fortune” airs 6:30 p.m. weekdays on WLS-Ch. 7.
