A Far South Side man has been charged with breaking into a home in Bucktown, tying up a woman who lived there and fondling her, police said.

Edward Malone, 23, was charged with home invasion and kidnapping with a firearm.

Police say Malone broke into the home in the 2100 block of West Concord Place around 11 p.m. Sunday. He tied up a 31-year-old woman, took some of her belongings, fondled her and left through the back door, police said.

Malone was arrested Thursday afternoon where he worked in the first block of West Wacker Drive, police said. He lives in the 10900 block of South Indiana Avenue.

He was due in bond court Friday afternoon.
