In some editions of Wednesday’s preprinted Food & Dining section, a story about the Finnish word kalsarikannit misidentified the agency behind the promotion of the term. That group is the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

*In an editorial Tuesday, an organization was misidentified as the Humane Society of Illinois. It is the Humane Society of the United States. Marc Ayers, referred to as the director, is the Illinois state director.

*A Blue Sky article on Page 2 of Monday’s Business section referenced incorrect investment data from a third-party source. Lightbank has made 109 investments, 75 of which are active, and made a total of 34 investments in 2016.

*The headline on Sunday’s Candid Candace column was wrong. The benefit recognized Women in the Arts; the event proceeds will go to the Steppenwolf for Young Adults program.

*In Eric Zorn’s column Friday, a quote deriding the effectiveness of microstamping bullet cartridges was attributed to the wrong source. The writer was online journalist Bob Owens.
