A toddler was taken to a hospital in serious condition after falling two stories in the Park West neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to officials.
The child fell from either a window or a porch of a building in the 500 block of West Wrightwood Avenue about 12:30 p.m., according to a Fire Department spokesman and police.
Earlier the spokesman said it happened about 2:30 p.m.
The toddler, whose gender was not known, was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital in serious to critical condition, the spokesman said.
