Waukegan police are seeking help in identifying three men believed responsible for the armed robbery of a cellphone store Tuesday evening.
According to a police statement, officers were called around 5:30 p.m. to the Verizon store in the 700 block of north Green Bay Road, and the store clerk reported employees had been robbed at gunpoint.
The clerk told officers that three black men in their 20’s walked into the store and demanded cash and property, according to police. One suspect was described as having braids, and another was described as having blonde tips on his hair. The third suspect is believed to have possessed the gun. They fled in an unknown vehicle, according to police.
