Delays were reported on Metra’s Milwaukee North line Monday morning after a train was stopped while police checked a report of a suspicious package, according to the agency.
The report was unfounded, Metra said.
The train, No. 2104, had been scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 6:50 a.m. in Chicago but was delayed more than 10 minutes, Metra said.
