Chicago police have issued an alert after a woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint near Horner Park on the North Side.
The woman, 31, was walking in the 4300 block of North Campbell Avenue around 9:10 p.m. Sunday when a man approached, pulled a gun and announced a robbery, police said.
The man then ordered the woman into an alley in the 2500 block of West Pensacola Avenue and sexually assaulted her, police said in a community alert Tuesday.
The attacker was described as black, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11 and medium build. He was wearing a dark sweatshirt.
