A man barricaded himself inside a washroom in the basement of a South Side church Sunday afternoon, police said.
As of about 3:45 p.m., no one had been injured and the situation was ongoing in the 5300 block of South Michigan Avenue in the city’s Washington Park neighborhood, police said.
Police officers, including from the SWAT team, remain on the scene, police said.
